Shewww.  I’m very sorry for the lack of recent posts.  We have been very busy the last few weeks with two boats out fishing most days.  This years drum season was just fair compared to other years, especially the good fishing we had last year.  We caught fish the whole season, but most of out trips were 1-6 fish on the corks.  No big days this year.  That’s ok.  Just catching one of these trophy fish is a pretty big deal.  On days we’ve had folks wanting to do a little light tackle fishing mixed in with their big drumming, we’ve had excellent success on the speckled trout.  That bite continues to be good and we expect a productive fall season.  Thanks to everyone who came out this year to chase the big reds.  We really appreciate your business.

The fall speckled trout season if off to a great start.  We’ve caught limits the last three days and plenty of throwbacks and other fish to round out the mixed bag.

Next open days on my boat:  Nov. 2, 12-14, 19-20, 25-26  Dec. 2-6, 9-13, 16-18    Let’s get on it!  Remember that if one of my open dates doesn’t work for you, I can get you out on the water with one of the other guides and you’ll have a great time!
