Jimmy, Don, and Dave worked hard and put together a decent catch. We ended up with around 30 or so after picking along all day with a single here and a single there. We never really found a huge school and experienced a true winter Roanoke Flurry (not the kind that involves this crappy ice and snow that we just got and are about to get…..I thought I lived far enough south not to worry about what those folks less fortunate up north worry about). What I’m talking about everyone on the boat hooked up every cast….what our winter fishing in known for. BUT…..we did have a great day hooking singles and having lots of fun on a pretty winter day. Come experience North Carolina’s BEST winter fishery!
