Outer Banks Light Tackle Fishing Report

This morning was the first day that we ventured out after all the wind we had early in the week. The fishing is still very good. We ended up with 25-30 speckled trout in a short 4 hour half day morning trip. Bob and Mary Lou from Charlotte has a great time and so did I. We’ll look forward to tomorrow’s fishing and hopefully the great fishing will continue and the SW wind will calm down just a little. It’s been a little too fiesty for us this summer so far.

If you like catching speckled trout in North Carolina, you should give us a call to get in on this bite.  The speckled trout fishing doesn’t get much more consistent that what we’ve seen around Roanoke Island this summer!

Bob with one he kept.
