We’ve been beating on the speckled trout the last couple of weeks with a few trips to Cape Lookout for the False Albacore fishing.  The trout fishing has been very good for the most part.  We’ve been catching scattered flounder, puppy drum, and stripers in with the specs.  The fall striper bite is showing some strong early signs, so stay tuned for that over the coming weeks.  The albies were virtually non-existent for most of October; however, they have made recent showing here in early Nov. Despite that, we’ve had a ton of fun catching other fish such as trout, bluefish, and redfish on those trips.  I have an albie trip scheduled for this coming Friday, so I’m hopeful that they’ll show up to the party.

November has been a busy month and is mostly booked up; however, December is still pretty wide open.  Some of our best fishing of the fall has historically been in December before Christmas, so let’s get out there and see what we can do.

Next open dates:  Nov. 29, 30  Dec. 3-7, 9-10, 12-13, 16-18, 27-28, 30-31

Here are some picture from some our recent trips.  Enjoy!
