Fishing was really good today with over 50 releases. The fish are really starting to push in from the sound as they begin their annual journey up the major rivers to spawn. Word is that many of the fish, especially the large school that we were catching a month or so ago is already in the Williamston area. If you want to get in on one of N.C.’s best light tackle fisheries, then give me a call to book a trip. Keeper season up in the rivers begins March 1, so you will be able to take 2 fish/person home with you for a nice meal of fresh rockfish.
