Really Really Good Slot Drum Fishing in the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers

What a day catching mostly 21-24″ slot drum.  We put the smackdown on them today.  The morning starting off with a bang with a fish the first cast on topwater and lots and lots of bites to follow from the pups as well as some stripers and speckled trout.  I’ve never seen so many drum in the river.  The are just about everywhere you go.  I love catching speckled trout and we have plenty of thes right now, but it’s tough to fully focus on trout when you have so many of these hard pullers at your fingertips.  Give me a call to set up your fall mixed bag adventure.  Enjoy some of North Carolina’s most remote water and best light tackle fishing here on the Inner Banks.
