We have just completed the first couple of days of our spring striper season on the Roanoke.  Catches are ranging from 10-40 fish per half day trip, which indicates we still have a ways to go to get to our typical spring numbers.  More and more fish are swimming our way for the party, so hopefully things will be just right shortly.  The water temps are still in the high 50’s, so they need to come up some.  This weather is keeping them down, so hope for some warmer nighttime and daytime temps, and we’ll be just where we want to be.

I’ll post some pics later.

Last openings:  A recent cancellation has opened the morning slot of next Wednesday, Apr. 20  (that’s a prime date during keeper season)

May 10(am), 12(pm), 13(am or pm)

The best way to reach me is via email at richard@tarpamguide.com.  I’ll be on the water most days with clients, and I’ll email you back in the evening.

Come enjoy some wonderful spring fishing.
