Shad and Stripers

For the past 3 charters, we’ve caught 50 stripers, 60 stripers, and 80 shad, respectively.  The striper bite on the lower Roanoke has been outstanding.  The shad bite on the Tar has also been outstanding.  I haven’t even been up to Weldon yet for the shad, but that bite is going off.  It’s just good everywhere.  Tomorrow, we’ll be back after the stripers on the Roanoke.  Stay tuned for a report.  Here are a few picture from some of our recent trips.

I’m booked up until April 9.  If you want to get out on the water before then, I can set you up with a good guide who will show you a quality experience and put you on some fish.  We’ll be starting our Weldon trips on April 9 this year. Here are my April openings for Weldon.  Make your reservation while one is available.  These are all prime “during the week” openings where there are few boats on the water.

April 9(pm), 10, 11(pm), 13(pm), 17(pm), 18, 23(pm), 25(am)
