Stripers on the Fly for Christmas

Eric and Amy have been fishing with me for many years now, and we’ve had some memorable trips together.  Today was no exception.  On a beautiful winter day with clear skies, no wind, and perfect temps in the high 50’s, we located a nice school of stripers and ended up with about 60-70, mostly on the fly.  The fish are steadily getting thicker in the lower reaches of the river.  I’m hoping for an epic winter season.  Let’s experience the best winter fishing North Carolina has to offer.  It’s a great fishery for mastering the art of sinking fly lines.

Next open dates:  Jan. 1-3, 16-18, 30-31
