This afternoon was a whole different story from the morning. The fish started biting around 4 o’clock when the sun popped out. We started picking up some nice fish on our jigs once that sun popped out and the air and water temp warmed a few degrees. It’s amazing how speckled trout will turn off and turn on so quickly. Will, Juliet, and Alexander experienced a great bite in a relatively short period of time and were able to carry home plenty of nice fish. We started out the afternoon with casting lessons and they were casting and catching speckled trout on the their own by the end of the trip and having a ball.
