Maybe we’ve just been getting lucky lately, but we’ve been defying every rule of summer trout fishing.  Hot? We can catch em.  Bright sun?  We can catch em.  Late in the day?  We can catch em.   Blowing 25 out of the SW?  We can catch em.  Low water levels?  We can catch em.  Lisa, Bryan, and Austin had a very good day of fishing today in some rather windy and challenging conditions.  As a guide, it’s often more rewarding catching fish under challenging conditions than when conditions are perfect.  25 knots of SW wind is challenging.  The results were lots of trout and lots of fun.  Austin caught the biggest trout of his life.  He’s a talented young angler and will most certainly catch a bigger one soon enough.  Thanks ya’ll for a great day on the water.
