For the Din family from Calgary, Canada. I bed this crowd caught 250 fish in 3 days. They had their 5 weight Hardy Zenith rods bent over for most of their trip. This hard core fly fishing family from Canada knew how to handle the long rods, and they wanted to experience all of what coastal NC has to offer in March. On the first day, we went shad fishing in Weldon and blistered them on the fly rods, catching well over 100. Lots of doubles and steady action most of the day. On the second and third day, we caught stripers, speckled trout, flounder, and redfish in some of the creeks off the Pamlico, all on fly……..very little conventional gear used. Check out all of the great photos and happy smiles. Fishing has been off the charts lately. Let’s go get em. I have April 5 open as well as April 13 (am 1/2 day only) for either shad fishing or mixed bag fishing on the Pamlico. In addition, I have May 2(pm), 9(pm), 10(am) for striper fishing in Weldon.
