A Fantastic Morning of Neuse River Giant Red Drum Fishing

Jason, his son, Gabe, his father, and Clay all enjoyed some spectacular catching this morning. The giant red drum bite was on from the time we started fishing to the time we stopped. As they typically do, the bites were coming in spurts and the waves of bites produced some exciting moments on the boat for these anglers, who were new to NC’s giant red drum fishery. Jason’s father regaled us with some exciting sea stories from his service to our country in the Marine Corps. We owe him and all the other veterans so much for our freedom to venture out into our waters and enjoy such wonderful fishery resources like this one.
