Rob and Tem brought their kids along today and the bite was just off.  We worked really hard for only about half a dozen stripers, but everyone got to catch a fish and they took home some meat for dinner. Sometimes you can’t catch em every time, but you will expect the same amount of effort from me each trip.  Rob came last year and burned them up.  Maybe the fishing was a little slower due to the water dropping from 7000cfs to 6300cfs.  Falling water sometimes freaks them out and they don’t bite so well.  It’s hard to keep the attention of young children when the bite is off, but they hung in there and we caught some fish but we had to work for them.
