Big Drum after the Blow

After 3 solid days of NE wind in the sound, we ventured out yesterday and caught a handful of slot and underslot drum after attempting to popping cork fish for the big fish in 20 knots of NE wind. This afternoon, Rob and Todd were lucky and landing some really nice fish. Todd came all the way from Atlanta to catch our big redfish. Should be pretty good fishing over the next few weeks. When conditions are favorable for whatever type of fishing we’re doing, we’re getting what we need. I think the best of the season is still yet to come.
