Richard and Tom came down from the western part of the state to fish the Roanoke for two days. Day 1 proved excellent. The fish cooperated and we caught them a variety of ways, including on the fly and in some explosive topwater action. You gotta love topwater action in January. We’ll see what Day 2 brings tomorrow.
