I’ve always heard the early bird gets the worm, but what if you get there earlier than the early bird? We were there early. Did it pay off? Eventually. J. Ed had another great day on the water catching speckles on topwater, which took a little “special touch” to get them to bite, unlike their striped neighbors. Later, we fed them what they really wanted, and it was quite specktacular.
