Lee and Matt opted for a light tackle day instead of chasing the trophy reds today. They made an excellent choice, as the bite was about as good as it can get. We started out the morning catching 40-50 stripers on topwater and then went seeking some other species. We ended up with a limit of trout and slot drum. It really can’t get much better, and we are really looking forward to the fall.
