I got back late from the mountains last night and was a little nervous going in to this morning’s trip because of the ridiculous amount of rain we’ve had in the last couple of weeks. Everything worked out great. We were given a beautiful morning for fishing, and we took advantage of it. The fishing was great. We caught lots of specs, flounder, stripers, and a kicker slot drum. This fishing family from the D.C. area and Oakland, CA. had a great dinner harvest consisting of keeper specs, flounder, and reds as well as lots of action and pullage.
