Folks, the keeper season for stripers on the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers opened today and will be open for the rest of the winter. If you have striper fever, I have openings in the near future. I have next Tues, Wed, and Thurs (Oct. 7-9) and Oct, 21, 27-29 open as well. We specialize in topwater fishing in shallow water for these brutes and routinely catch 25-30″ fish in the 7-15 pound range. That’s a whole lot of fun on a Medium-Light Spinning rod.
