It was good today………for me and Capt. Scott. Capt. Scott ran my boat and I ran a charter with Chris and Mike on their boat. Mike is the one of the owners of Tideline Boats. Tideline Boats are high performance catamaran outboards that are built in Eastern North Carolina. Chris has the smaller 19′ version that we took out today. They are currently building some 235’s that are huge. The 19 fished the 3 of us comfortably and with a 8′ 4″ beam, was the biggest and most stable 19 foot boat I’ve ever fished. The wind whipped up on us as we were coming in ahead of an approaching storm front and we were eating up a 2-3 foot chop head-to. These are great rough water boats (good for the open waters of our area) with the light tackle capability of any bay boat.

We ended up catching around 40 flounder with 8 keepers……not too bad. Capt. Scott did well on the keepers, too. He always seems to get his. It was the first trip to the Pamlico for Steve, Ab, and Chris, and it sounds like they will be coming back for more.
