Great Spring Redfishing on the Pamlico River

An old friend of mine from the days at Oregon Inlet came fishing with me today and we found what we were looking for.  Great action on the puppy and lower slot (18-20″) reds today.  We found scattered fish just about everywhere we went but we were lucky enough to find the motherload and took advantage of it by throwing what they were eating.  We did catch a few trout and flounder mixed in with the drum to complete our Pamlico slam!  If you like catching redfish on light tackle, then give us a call and we can set you up with plenty of these light tackle brutes in one of the most beautiful and remote settings in Coastal North Carolina…………and you can catch them consistently on the fly, too!
