That silly song makes me laugh every time I hear it. It really does sum up what I’ve been up to the last week or so. Yesterday we hit the sound for some sea duckin’ and today we hit the river for some striper fishing. Nobody was up for experiencing some world class striper fishing on light tackle today, so I had to fish for them all by myself. It really was tough being alone and catching so many fish. Too bad you missed out.
I went scouting and found some really nice stripers. There will be more of these to come. This one was pushing 26 inches and a solid 8-10 pounds……one of many. I told you it was time. Who needs a trout when you have these bruisers and lots of them.
