The striper and shad fishing has been excellent lately. We’ve had lots of happy anglers over the past week, including a group from Charlotte who were able to catch stripers one day and shad the next both on conventional gear and fly rods. Capt. Scott helped out with that 2 boat trip and he put the boys on some fish as usual. We also had some young anglers who enjoyed some great fishing. That always brings me pleasure to see young fishermen enjoying themselves on the water.
