The Atkins family enjoyed some family fun last week on the Roanoke. Bob and I fished today and got into a decent fly bite. I don’t get to throw the long rod very often for shad, as I usually have too many anglers on the boat. I was a happy guide with 3 doubles on the fly. Fishing has been steady and should remain so through the week.
