Just had Saturday April 11 (morning slot 6:30-11:30) open up. This is a prime Saturday slot in Weldon. The stripers will be there by then. There are already some there even though the shad are much thicker right now.
I still have the morning of Tuesday, April 21 open if anyone wants that one, too.

On another note, I’ve already heard back about one of the fish Dennis and I tagged in the lower Roanoke this winter. We tagged the fish on Feb. 12 near the mouth of the Roanoke. Just a couple of days ago, it was caught in the Scuppernong River in Columbia by one of my good buddies, Karl Helmkamp, aka “Red Duck”. He told me that the fish didn’t make it any further that day, except into the hot grease for dinner. That fish went the wrong way. Shows how much they really do roam the system.
