We are anticipating another amazing striper season in Weldon. Based on what we’ve seen all winter on the lower end of the river and in the Albemarle Sound, we should have a nice class of fish and also a variety of age classes/sizes. There are already consistent catchable numbers of fish up in Weldon. I’ve been up there shad fishing about 4 days/week and we’ve seen stripers with our shad and schooled up fish already.
I am personally booked up for the season, but here are Capt. Hurley’s remaining open dates:
April 22(pm), 23(am & pm), 24(am & pm), 26(am), 27(am & pm), 28(am & pm)
