Until the big blow over the weekend and the big cooldown in water temps, we had been tagging some large numbers of speckled trout in the lower river. We have now turned our attention up the river and are catching stripers with some other species mixed in. Ovis and Andrew are from New Jersey and ventured down to Eastern NC for some inshore saltwater fishing on the Inner Banks. Ovis is an ocean tug boat captain and told me all about traveling the world’s oceans on various ships. Very interesting! We had a great time and caught a nice variety of fish.
