We fished Bath and Durham creek today and the fishing left a little bit to be desired. We ended up with 3 stripers (2 of which were good sized keepers) and a small speckled trout. For some reason, we couldn’t beg or borrow a flounder bite, but I know that there are some flounder being caught, as we caught a few yesterday afternoon. The mixed bag fishing this spring on the Pamlico has been a little off, but I am optimistic about the next few weeks. The flounder fishing should continue to improve as we move into the summer months. I anticipate some excellent summer fishing as water temperatures continue to rise.
