One of the biggest challenges of being a guide is to take the conditions at hand and squeeze out of them every last opportunity for success. Today it took a little more work than I’ve been used to to make our trip a success, but that is also more rewarding to me. Little Church, Big Church, and Charlie wore me out today. We caught tons of small trout and had to really work at it to catch a 4 man limit BUT we got em! We endured some windy and rough conditions to obtain our secret weapons and then put them to use to get what we needed. The specs were whacking them. As always, Charlie kept me on my toes and made sure I was on the top of my game. It worked!
