As usual, we’ve had some great fishing in the days before a hurricane. Yesterday, we had over 20 in the morning and around 15 in the afternoon during a 25 knot Sou’wester. I almost pulled the trigger this morning because it was very fishable and pretty but I thought it might put my back against the wall in my preparation for the storm. Boat is in the yard and we’ll be back at it on Sat afternoon, if the Fishing Center is not too heavily damaged. Should be fine, as this storm is moving fairly quickly. Will keep everyone posted after the storm.
