Recent striper trips have been mostly productive. We’ve still been catching 50-100 fish per trip. One day the wind was blowing a gale and we had trouble locating a school and only caught about 15. That’s a really slow day in this fishery and a pretty good day by other standards. That’s what makes this fishery so special. Overall, it’s really good, and I’m very happy with the way the winter season is progressing.
I have started back with my regular newsletters after about a 2 year hiatus. Stay tuned for regular monthly updates. I have added a new email list signup button on the bottom of the left sidebar of my website’s homepage and a newsletter page on my website where you will be able to view the most recent newsletter. We have a lot going on and coming up in 2019 and are excited about seeing old friends, making new friends, and having some memorable times together on the water.
