Today was some of the best puppy drum fishing I’ve seen in a long time. We were catching them every which way and having a blast doing it. Popping corks, paddle tails, spoons……..you name it and they were eating it. We also had a really pretty limit of speckled trout, a black drum, and a nice flounder. This is what fall mixed bag fishing on the Pamlico can produce when it’s on. We had a great time and I’m looking forward to coming back for more.
