Roanoke River Striper Report

Sean with the big fish of the day

We had a great day casting hard baits around structure in shallower water today. With the warmer water temps, we have had to switch gears and fish a little differently……..and we got them today. Yesterday we were snakebit beyond belief but today we redeemed ourselves and caught some nice fish. I tried a topwater bait in the morning due to the fully overcast sky but couldn’t get a blowup……..maybe a bit too late in the morning already or just a little too early in the season (although I am confident we can catch them on topwater, as the water temp has been around 49-51 degrees most days. Sean and Tommy did a great job today and they were a whole bunch of fun to have on the boat.
