Billy and Fred have both fished with me before but never done the giant drum fishing. Billy seems to have all the luck. Last summer, we had an epic speckled trout day in Manteo. Today was not much different.
We’re doing just fine on the Pamlico with some “Neuse-like” numbers. Really Really good fishing today. Well into the double digits with 4 fish over 50 inches. We even had a triple header (check out the photo of the 2 rods bent over with the first one on the deck, I just stepped away for a couple of seconds to take the picture and the fish went back in the water quickly). Once we got those 3 to the boat, a fourth rod bent over while letting the third one loose. Lots and lots of action! Come get you some. I’m all booked up for the rest of season but can get you on the water and in the meat with another quality guide in our area.
All of this action and didn’t see another vessel of any sort all day, except a sail boat on the ICW and a crabber up in the creek………..WOW!
