A Great Intro to March with Speckled Trout and Redfish on the Pamlico!

Phil and Brenda caught their share of light tackle fare today.  Brenda is the more serious fisherwoman and she was also serious about needing to put some meat in the cooler.  We were hoping to load up with specs after some really good fishing earlier in the week.  We got on the trout and managed only a handful.  We were on them but just couldn’t manage very many quality bites.  They were being trout and not biting as well as we wanted.  Despite the trout not cooperating fully with us, the tables turned in the bottom of the ninth and we were able to put a hurtin on the pups.  We had a load of fun catching undersized and lower slot reds to top off a great introduction to March.
