This past week, we’ve been fishing the lower Roanoke, our staple winter striper fishery, while also exploring some new waters on the Tar. I’m excited about having additional options for winter fishing and providing new experiences for our anglers. We’ve had lots of fun the past couple of days fishing on the Tar. I’m optimistic about this fishery.
I have had Feb. 27 & 28 open up. I also have Mar. 6, 8-9, 14-15, 20-22, 24, 28-30 open.
We’ll be offering Weldon trips from April 15-May 13 this year. Remaining April slots for Weldon are April 18(am), 19, 25(pm), 26(pm), 27(am). Get them before they are gone. The best fishing of the season (in my humble opinion) is in May. I have openings as of now. Let’s go.
