On Friday, I had the Spoon River crowd from Belhaven. Not only is Spoon River my wife’s and my favorite restaurant, but it’s a very successful family business run by good, hard-working people. It takes a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication to pull off the quality of food and service at Spoon River, so they were looking for a nice break and a little R&R while closed for the week. Mark, Andrew, and Julio, the new head chef, had a bunch of fun wearing out some nice lower Roanoke River winter stripers. Thanks again guys!
