We had a great day of fishing with Bob, Bo, and Adam. The morning bite was steady and we found some scattered bigger fish in the afternoon. One pod we found was really ready to eat some topwater baits in the middle of the day with bright sun beating down. Several fish even ate a rattlin rogue that was fouled up and spinning on the surface. It amazes me sometimes how aggressive our resident striper can be. Other times, they might just take one lazy swipe at the bait or follow it to the boat stalking it but never eating it. That’s what makes it so fun I guess. Bo definitely won some style points with his ski goggles. He wasn’t at all worried about the tan lines on his face.
