I dropped the boat in the water for a couple of hours and fished one of the local creeks off the Pamlico to try to find some trout. When I eased up into the back of the creek, I saw something chasing bait. I tossed a Zara Spook at the commotion and look what I came up with. The rockfish missed it the first time, and then he piled on it. What a bite! First topwater fish of 2011.
