Weldon Striper Fishing is Going Off!

Chris Hill and his family had a great day catching stripers all day long.  Needless to say I was busy with the landing net, the pliers, and the bait net.  We live bait fished all day, but I’m sure a competent angler could catch them well on artificials where we were fishing.  All of our action was mostly out of the crowd, which makes fishing a little more pleasant for everyone.  Chris’s son, young Walker, caught so many fish that he couldn’t stay awake for the ride back to the boat ramp.  Keeper season is still in, so the guys took home a cooler full of meat.
