This pic is a triple header from my morning trip. These guys caught all they want and took home a nice limit of 20-22″ keepers. Great action and a good sign of things to come.
This fish is from my afternoon trip and looks as if it survived the labyrinth of gill nets in the Albemarle Sound to make it to the spawning grounds. We released this one to give it another fighting chance. Good fishing in the afternoon, too, but the best fishing is early morning.
