Epic Fall Fishing on the Pamlico

Today I had a last minute cancellation, so what does a fishing guide who truly enjoys fishing do on his day off? He goes fishing. I checked out a new area today by myself. I was the only boat in sight. In two hours of fishing, I caught around forty specs, half a dozen grays, half a dozen puppy drum, half a dozen nice white perch, a flounder, a two of these guys (0n trout rods)……all while flocks of greenwing teal were buzzing my head. Did I mention the temperature was perfect, the light cool NW breeze was refreshing, and that there was not a cloud in the sky?

As always, the ZMan’s didn’t let me down. The StreakZ 3.75″ in Pearl did the job. Elephants eat peanuts, too!
