Just a reminder that this coming weekend, our “Double Header Shad” Carolina Outdoor Journal show will re-air on UNC-TV on Saturday Feb. 20 at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday Feb. 21 at 11:00 a.m.
March and very early April are the best times to fish for shad. If anyone wants to fish the Tar River for American (White) Shad and Hickory Shad and/or the Roanoke River for Hickory Shad, then shoot me an email and we’ll make your light tackle fishing dreams come true.
