Barr and I went looking today, and we found what we were looking for………excellent post-spawn striper fishing on the lower Roanoke. We had some amazing topwater action during the middle of the day. With some of our bites, we had multiple fish swirling underneath trying to eat the topwater bait. What a fishery! If anybody wants in on this, I have Monday, May 13 available. That’s the last opening I have over the next 2 weeks.
