These boys came down from Hertford to try the saltier water for some different species. I fished a different part of the river today. It took us a while to find the fish, but when we did, we had some good action on the keeper flounder. We ended up with some quality keepers (2 over 18″) and Ted caught this beautiful 24.5 inch speckled trout. After a quick debate on whether or not to keep the fish, I talked the guys into releasing her. Hopefully she’ll spawn soon and help rebuild the “viable” stock with little trout this fall.
