Well folks we picked up right where we left off in late March……only the size of fish we are now seeing is bigger on average. John and Ed ended up with at least 30 today and every one of them was on topwater. Out of those fish, I bet half of them were over 25 inches. It’s a pretty vicious strike to see a 28 incher strike a chug bug in 2 feet of water. We had a couple of bigger fish today try to dive straight down after getting hooked up only to bury their noses in the mud and their tails were flapping up in the air and throwing water everywhere. I love it…………and John and Ed loved it, too!
