When the giant reds don’t cooperate like we want or the conditions are just too windy for productive fishing with artificials, we’ve been opting for some awesome speckled trout fishing. We’re catching easy limits and having lots and lots of action. Check out these photos from out last few trips this past week. We’re hoping for better conditions this week, but if not, we have a good backup plan.
The first picture below is of yesterday’s catch. Our largest fish was 23.5″. Nice one. This season is one of the best speckled trout seasons we’ve had in recent years. Generally the fall is the absolute best time of the year to catch them. Reserve your date now to get in on the action. We’ll have great fishing from now right on through the holidays.
