Fresh speckled trout, rockfish, and flounder for dinner. We caught more specs and many were just under keeper size. Things are looking good for next year with all these small fish, but we did manage to find a few keepers, thank goodness. A beautiful day on the water and a great fall variety. Trout fishing is decent and should only improve in the coming weeks. Despite a scarcity of trout in many places, I think I’ve found a pretty consistent bite that should last.
