The speckled trout fishing in the Swan Quarter area has been outstanding since late October. The good numbers should remain as long as the water temp doesn’t drop too drastically. The stripers are showing up in decent number in the Pamlico River near town. Going to try some live eels near the various pilings near town to see how well they work. It should be good fishing and a consistent way to catch them all winter long!
